Voices and mysterious languages that quite possible have little that is human about them - in the sens of acculturation - but which have been stratified like fossils in the earth, in the landscape. I very much like the idea that forms, silhouettes, and landscapes that appears before us, in their raw reality [...] are forms, or formal archetypes, that we haven't yet learned how to read, and of which one may go so far as to say that they are there before us - and for millions of years - as a great open sacred book.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;X&amp;ouml;&amp;ouml;mij&lt;/em&gt; is the namenof a particular genre of diphonic chant of oriental origin characterized by the pronounced use of the throat sound.
